Bundle Up

With my visa officially in the hands of the UK government, it is finally time for the fun part of going abroad. Lists. Yeah, that’s right, the lists are the fun part for me (I know, who would’ve thought, right?). So, I have created the perfect packing list for my nine months across the pond and I am here to share it with you. Whether you are a fellow traveler, blogger, friend, or family you will have access to the greatest packing list known to man, you’re welcome. So, without further ado, here it is:

  • Underwear (the more the merrier obviously)
  • Socks (fuzzy and normal) about three weeks
  • Long Sleeve Shirts
  • Short Sleeve Shirts
  • Sweatshirt/Hoodie (2-3)
  • Cardigans!! (a few that can go with a couple outfits)
  • Sweaters (5) because I love sweaters
  • Jeans (6 pairs)
  • Shorts (6 pairs)
  • Gym/Workout Clothes (4) this is really just my leggings that I definitely do not work out in
  • Pajamas/Sleepwear
  • Swimsuits (2 if you are into that, I’m packing one)
  • Coat/Jacket (Raincoat for sure!)
  • Some cute tops for the pubs
  • Shower shoes (hostels?)
  • Gloves, hats, beanies, scarves, etc.
  • Sneakers/Combat Boots/Heels

  • Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash (if you have a specific type otherwise it will be easier to get it there if trying to save space)
  • Toothbrush/Toothpaste
  • Loofa
  • Lotion
  • Deodorant and Perfume
  • Tampons/Pads/Liners (Just in case, about a month worth)
  • Hairbrush
  • Razor and Blades
  • Nail Clippers/Eyelash Curler/Scissors/Tweezers
  • Makeup
  • Medicine
  • Towels (mine are small so I will probably just pack them)

  • Some cash in the currency
  • Small day backpack
  • Important Documents (have copies too!)
  • Sunglasses
  • Laptop and Charger
  • Speaker and Charger
  • Phone Charger
  • Journal/Planner/Binder
  • Duffel Bag (For day trips, don’t worry)
  • Camera/Polaroid (extra polaroids)
  • Power Adaptor
  • GoPro
  • Small First Aid Kit
  • Lock with Combo (For hostels)
  • Books (Obviously)
  • Travel Water Bottle (2)
  • Portable Phone Charger
  • Hangers (?)
  • School Supplies (I’m picky about some stuff)

Voila, that’s it! Well, that’s about it, hopefully I didn’t forget anything. Though there is still time for minor adjustments just in case. Let me know if you think there is anything I forgot, or maybe something I can do without. I will be buying my bedding stuff there, though I might try to pack my favorite pillow. The goal is to get it all in two suitcases, but we will have to see how it looks! Here’s to hoping my packing skills pay off.

    1. Good point! There are a couple things that I am going to try to get when I am there, but I definitely needed the reminder.
