Hello loves! I know it’s been a few weeks (one was on purpose the other was accidental) Don’t worry though because I am back with new content for this weeks post! Also, I’ve totally got the lingo down for a youtube channel, maybe you should stay tuned for that haha. Anyways, this week is about my awesome and slightly emotional weekend I had in Flagstaff.
As most, if not all, of you, know I have spent the last two years at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. I have absolutely loved it and I have made some really amazing friends along the way. I was lucky enough to get a free weekend from work to go and visit a couple of those incredible friends. I won’t go into crazy detail about everything that happened (honestly, it wasn’t all totally legal) but I will say that I do have some really incredible friends.
Summer, who is the kindest friend ever, was cool enough to let me crash at her place. Though between us I didn’t exactly give her a chance to say no. I am so ridiculously happy that I got to see her again before I leave for nine months (for those not keeping calendar, its t-minus 30 days until I’m Europe bound). She is one of my best friends at NAU and I’m not sure I would’ve made it through this last year without her. Along with her, my friend Thomas was also someone that I got to see a lot. It was so great to spend one last weekend with my two biggest Arizona supporters (my mom would kill me if I said they are the two biggest overall).
The weekend was fast and full of seeing as many people as I could before I left, but I am so thankful I had the opportunity. Even though driving 14 hours in the span of 4 days is definitely exhausting. I just want to take a moment to thank all of my AZ friends that have been as excited about me leaving as I have. I’m bummed I didn’t get to see everyone before I left, but I hope you all know how much you mean to me. You kept me grounded and sane these last two years and for that, I am eternally grateful.
I hope you guys all have an absolutely amazing year (since NAU starts soon) and that you guys keep in touch because I really want to know how everyone is doing! Don’t be afraid to tell me I’m posting too much, because that will definitely be the case haha. Anyways, I love you all and don’t forget that this isn’t goodbye, it’s just a see you later.
Cheers,
Kylie
