Hello my darlings. It has been quite awhile since my last post, I do apologize for being so MIA. With the end of the term and seeing exchange students before they leave I was just running out of free time to write. Plus, nothing quite interesting enough for the blog took place since my last post. The end of my term was quite uneventful as really I was living like a local. Which was kind of fun, but did unfortunately lead to a routine that was not interesting to share with all of you.
However, it is almost Christmas, I am back with Uncle Paul and Kimberley as the term finished Friday, and THE GRIST FAMILY IS COMING!!!! I cannot express how excited I am to see everyone and have them here in Europe for the holidays. It will be so nice to see them and experience more of London with them. I have been counting down the days for the last two weeks, what a long 14 days it has been my friends. Now it is only a few short hours until they are by my side in the same time zone, something that feels quite surreal.
I am also happy to announce that I have started on my travel plans for my time between terms (as apparently the next one doesn’t start until February). I have not finalized anything, but I am hoping that I will be able to see more of the United Kingdom, Scotland watch out because I plan on spending lots of time up there. I will most likely be doing a lot of the traveling on my own, so if anyone has any good spots for solo travellers feel free to comment!
I will say that the term went really well, though I do hope to do lots more travelling in the coming term as I was quite busy with classes this last one. Not only that, but my timetable was a mess so I didn’t have much weekend time free. Hoping that changes next term, as most classes are once a week. Other than that I enjoyed it greatly and still have not done grades. Most of my assignments are due in the middle of January, and before you ask, no I have not really started to work on them, but I still have time.
Well I believe that is all my friends. I will be sure to have a normally scheduled post for this Wednesday, until then have a lovely Christmas Eve!
